Setting up Stripe in 3Shape LMS

This article will show you how to set up Stripe

Stripe allows you to process credit & debit card payments conveniently and securely from your LMS site. Card information is saved to your client's payment options, so there is no need to repeatedly enter it each month. 

There is no equipment to rent or purchase, no setup fees, no monthly charges. 

*Note: Payouts are generally free, but exceptions may occur for payouts in a currency different from your main chosen currency. For specific fees in your country, follow this link: https://stripe.com/pricing 

To sign up for Stripe, we advise having the business owner or a key manager complete the onboarding due to the substantial amount of business-related information required, varying from country to country.  Including, but not limited to, bank account information & tax identification numbers, *business website, etc.

*Note: Website is required as part of KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations. If you do not have a website, you can use a social media page or LinkedIn account for your business. More information might be required.

 

1) Settings > Billing > Card Processing > Register for Stripe > Edit

 

 

2) Click Connect to Stripe in the pop-up window

You can read about Stripe in the pop-up window and follow the link at the bottom to see relevant fees for your country.  

 

3) You'll be directed to the Stripe website to complete the registration process. Go back to your LMS site at any time by clicking "Return to 3Shape LMS". All information will be saved allowing you to pick up where you left off when you return. Upon successful registration, you'll be redirected to your LMS site.

 

4)  Your Stripe account number is now displayed in Settings. There's also a link to log into your Stripe account from the LMS Settings.
